Grow and learn after school with fresh, engaging activities. Flexible schedule each quarter. Offered 1 to 5 days a week at Amity Creek Elementary and Bend International School.
For youth with no robotics experience. Campers build a LEGO robot and use motors and sensors to program it to perform tasks. Learn problem-solving, get creative, explore new ideas, and have fun!
For youth with previous experience with robotics. Join a team to create a functional robot and innovation project to compete in a regional competition. Once a week for 10 weeks in Bend and Redmond.

One-off outdoor programs, Kids Night Out, community events, outreach and more! We’re always brewing up something fun for Central Oregon youth. Stay tuned for new events and activities like Kids Night Out, a fun evening of games, activities, crafts and dinner, offered by Camp Fire staff and volunteer babysitters who are trained and certified by Camp Fire.
Designed for working families, SummerKids weekly camps give your child a place to feel creative, secure and empowered. Weekly themes and great indoor and outdoor spaces all summer long. Leadership programs for 7th-9th graders and Junior Counselor programs for 9th-12th graders.
From week-long Service Challenges to Junior Counselor and CIT programs, Camp Fire’s teen summer programs are all about giving back, building leadership skills, and having a blast while doing so!
A fun, unique and unforgettable experience for kids in beautiful Tumalo State Park. Tumalo Day Camp is a group outdoor learning experience that lets kids share joy and responsibility while making new, lasting friendships. Counselor in Training opportunities for 8th-12th graders.
Campers learn to solve problems, get creative, explore new ideas, and have fun! Through robotics and coding, these tech camps build important life skills, instill confidence, and help youth find their sparks.
Youth in 1st through 6th grade can join Camp Fire Central Oregon for a fun week of summer camp in the outdoors. ExplOregon camps are designed to bring engaging opportunities for youth in rural areas to get outdoors and learn about local streams, geology, and human history while building a deeper connection with nature and themselves.
Camp Fire Central Oregon has a long history of providing financial assistance to families in need. We strive to make all of our programs available to as many youth as possible, regardless of the ability to pay.
We recommend applying for assistance far in advance of the programs you are interested in attending, as funds are limited. Programs are open to all and we do not discriminate on the basis of race, religion, national origin, ethnicity, physical challenges, or sexual orientation.
