Babysitter Training

Whether you are gearing up to take care of siblings or thinking of making a little extra cash as a babysitter, you won't want to miss this educational and hands-on learning experience.

Youth (5th-8th grades) will learn important babysitting skills to include; basic child care, first aid and safety measures, engaging games and activities to play with young children, as well as some food preparation skills. Additionally, participants will learn job ethics and how to present themselves in a professional manner. Upon successful completion of the course, each participant will head home with life-long skills, a babysitting resume, and a certificate of completion.

Program Details:

 

PROGRAM HOURS:  9:00am-5:00pm

 

LOCATION: In-home setting

To simulate a more realistic babysitting experience, this course takes place in the instructor's home. Participants will have an opportunity to assess for real life home hazards while using critical thinking skills to improvise in an unfamiliar home setting.

The home is located in NW Bend.  The exact address will be sent in your confirmation email.
