Happening This Saturday! Camp Fire’s 4th Annual Autumn Family Faire Brings Fall Fun, Connection, and Community to Downtown Bend
All of Central Oregon Is Invited!

Bend, Ore., October 14, 2025 – The wait is almost over! Camp Fire Central Oregon’s 4th Annual Autumn Family Faire is happening this Saturday, October 18, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Troy Field in Bend—and it’s completely FREE for all ages. Families, kids, community members and visitors to Central Oregon are invited to celebrate the season with a full day of autumn fun, games, creativity, and connection.
This beloved community event features fall-themed activities, crafts, face painting, robotics, bouncy castle excitement from Bouncing Off the Walls, and the ever-popular zombie laser-tag tent. Guests can also enjoy entertainment, Lava City Cirque’s aerial arts (weather permitting), and mouthwatering eats from local favorites like Bobablastic and Junior’s Grill Build Your Own Mac-N-Cheese. Costumes are encouraged, and attendees can even win a prize through a 50/50 raffle supporting Camp Fire’s youth scholarship fund.
“In a world that can feel pretty stressful, connection has never been more important,” says Kecia Kubota, Camp Fire’s Executive Director. “This event brings people together—families, friends, neighbors, and out-of-towners—to laugh, play, and rediscover community. It’s about putting down our screens, pausing our busy lives for a few hours, and actively engaging with each other. That’s what Camp Fire is all about: creating meaningful connections and helping kids thrive so our whole community can thrive.”
The Autumn Family Faire wouldn’t be possible without volunteers—and there’s still time to get involved!
- Teens can volunteer through Camp Fire’s Teen Connects program, gaining valuable leadership and event experience that looks great on resumes and college applications.
- Adults are also encouraged to lend a hand—an easy and rewarding way to meet people, give back, and help create a day full of joy for local families.
Volunteer shifts are flexible, and all volunteers enjoy tasty perks—morning coffee and pastries for early shifts, and a pizza lunch for all.
