We've been helping Central Oregon youth find their sparks for over 100 years.

Camp Fire is THRILLED to be expanding offerings in South County. We offer programs and events for ages 4-17, focused on a mission that connects youth to the outdoors, to each other, and to themselves. After School Programs

Camp Fire Afterschool | Grades K-5

Afterschool = Awesome Camp Fire Afterschool (CFA) brings fun, hands-on learning to your child’s afternoons with fresh activities and flexible scheduling—1 to 5 days a week at Three Rivers and Rosland Elementary.

Join Anytime (Almost!) Register before each session starts for the best experience—but if you miss the window, don’t worry! Email us to check for openings.

Easy Access from La Pine Elementary La Pine families—we’ve got you covered! Free bus transportation brings your child straight from La Pine Elementary to Rosland Elementary for CFA.

We’re for Everyone We offer sliding-scale financial assistance so every South County youth can participate—no proof required, just select what works for your family.

Need More Support? Just Ask! If the sliding scale doesn’t meet your needs, additional financial assistance is available—just fill out a short application and we’ll work with you directly.

No School Day Programs

No School Day Camps | Grades K-5

Turn a "day off" into a day of creativity and fun while growing new skills and making friends! Our No School Day Camps are on some days when Bend-LaPine School District days are out in South County. Flexible scheduling, too!

Teen Programs

Teen Connects | Ages 12-17

It's all about volunteering for our community, leadership and fun! Teen Connects offers single-day opportunities to give back, plus have a chance to make a difference + make friends!

Babysitter Training | Ages 12-17

Spend a day with Camp Fire and get babysitting skills that boost on-the-job confidence and understanding. Hot tip: Volunteer babysit with us to put your skills into practice!

Teen Internship | Grades 9-12

Under the supervision of Camp Fire's highly trained staff, high school students can gain experience in the youth work field during afterschool hours at Rosland Elementary and Three Rivers School.

Special Events

Kids Night Out | Ages 4-11

Enjoy an evening out while Camp Fire Central Oregon hosts your kids for a fun-filled Kids Night Out in Bend or La Pine! Our certified babysitters will lead crafts, games, activities, and dinner—all to support our camp scholarship fund.

Summer

 

Ecology Engineers | Grades 4-6

Where engineering meets ecology! Join Camp Fire Central Oregon as we explore robotics and engineering while learning more about ecology in our community. During a week of Ecology Engineers, we will be taking field trips to explore and experience all the different aspects of our topic. Click here for more details!

 

Science & Sparkles | Grades K-3

Sciences + Sparkles is a hands-on STEAM program that blends simple science experiments with creative art projects. Kids explore, create, and discover through age-appropriate activities that encourage curiosity, imagination, and joyful learning—perfect for little hands and big wonder. Click here for more details!
