Teen Connects

Teen Connects offers stand-alone service projects and fun outings for 12 through 18 year olds looking for more volunteer experience. We are excited for any teen to join us to make a difference and make friends!

We’ve added some outstanding and purposeful events for Spring 2024 in what we call Spring Into Service. It’s all about serving our community during spring break.

Earth Day Fair & Parade — Volunteer With Us! | Ages 12-18

Come volunteer with Camp Fire at the Earth Day Fair! Assist with set up, run games for kids, and/or assist with clean up for this annual event that celebrates and creates awareness and appreciation about our environment, sustainability and community!  We offer three shifts for volunteers. Lend a hand, helping with one, two or all three shifts during this action-packed day of fun, hosted by our partner The Environmental Center. When signing up to volunteer with Camp Fire, make sure to register directly with us (not The Environmental Center). And teens – get all your friends to sign up, too! We need loads of volunteers to make this big day a success!

DATE: Saturday, April 20, 2024, 9:30-3:30 p.m. Shifts are from 9:30-11:45 a.m., 11:30 a.m.-1:45 p.m., and 1:30-3:30 p.m.
WHERE: Meet at Troy Field in Downtown Bend, 51 NW Louisiana Ave, Bend, OR 97701

Cascade Relays — Volunteer With Us! | Ages 12-18

Come volunteer with Camp Fire with Cascade Relays, which hosts super fun relays throughout the region, leaning on volunteers to make it happen and providing fundraising dollars in return for their help! Along with adult volunteers, assist in handing out water to racers, parking, recycling and trash. As mentioned, the event doubles as a fundraiser for Camp Fire Central Oregon, so the more volunteers we bring to help, the more money we raise for our youth program scholarships!

DATE: Saturday, May 4th (exact shift times TBD)
WHERE: Two team locations, both in Redmond: Cascade Lakes Brewing, 855 SW 7th St, Redmond, OR 97756, and Wild Ride Brewing, 332 SW 5th St, Redmond, OR 97756
