Teen Connects offers stand-alone service projects and fun outings for 12 through 18 year olds looking for more volunteer experience. We are excited for any teen to join us to make a difference and make friends!
We’ve added some outstanding and purposeful events for Fall 2023 in what we call Spring Into Service. It’s all about serving our community during spring break.
Harmony Farm Sanctuary rescues and rehabilitates neglected, unwanted, and abused farmed animals. They work to build a kinder and more inclusive community and advocate for a sustainable food system free from harm. Get a tour of the sanctuary and interact with the resident animals. Then, lend a hand with some of the chores that make the sanctuary a loving and safe home for those animals!

Teens will prepare, serve, and clean up lunch service at Family Kitchen, which is committed to serving anyone who needs a nutritious meal in a safe and caring environment.

Come to Camp Fire CO’s office for snacks and service! We’ll put together care packages for houseless folks in collaboration with REACH.
A non-profit that serves houseless people in Bend, REACH helps people access critical resources, including delivery of mail, medical and health services, transportation support, employment placement, and items such as sleeping bags and tents.

Learn about the great work Upper Deschutes Watershed Council (UDWC) does restoring Central Oregon waterways while helping to plant native plants and remove invasive weeds. This outing involves a native plant hike and time for nature sketching.
UDWC seeks to protect and restore the two million acre Upper Deschutes River watershed through collaborative projects in habitat restoration, watershed education, and long-term monitoring.
