With the closure of the La Pine Parks and Rec District, families in South County have suddenly lost access to vital after-school childcare. The Bend-La Pine School District has asked Camp Fire Central Oregon to step in and run the after-school programs at Three Rivers, La Pine, and Rosland Elementary Schools.

We are ready to help, but we can’t do it alone. We need your support to make after-school care affordable for all families, especially those in need of financial assistance. 64% of students at these schools qualify for free or reduced lunch, meaning many families need financial assistance to afford after-school care and the demand for scholarships is higher than ever. Your donations can make a direct impact by providing scholarships, ensuring no child is left without the care they need.
