The Student Planning Committee (SPC) operates to plan, design, and deliver event-style programs for other youth and the community at large. Teens will focus on service and leadership while developing event planning skills. It is all about collaborating and working towards a common goal. Each youth will have the opportunity to challenge themselves and take on active leadership roles during our time together.
Another staple of the SPC is to assist the Teen Program Manager with planning monthly Teen Connects events. These events are based in service and fun, and are typically offered for free.
SPC is a great opportunity for High Schoolers who have been involved with Camp Fire for a while to use their voice and help design programs they want to see offered.
We will meet at the Camp Fire office, located in BendTECH Coworking Space at 1001 SW Emkay Dr. We may meet elsewhere when we are out in the community doing our service projects, but all location changes will be communicated ahead of time by staff.

Camp Fire programs are kept small to ensure a great Adult:Youth ratio and create the best growth experience possible. If the program is sold out, please add yourself to the waitlist.
FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE:
Thanks to generous support from Oregon Community Foundation, we will be offering our Teens in Action program on a sliding scale basis. At registration, please choose the highest level that you are able to contribute.
