Camp Fire Central Oregon | Light the Fire Within

No School Day Camps

No school? No problem! Join us for one of our many No School Day Camps this year. Turn that “day off” into a day of creativity and fun! Our trained and professional staff strive to foster an encouraging, respectful environment. Every No School Day Camp is filled with fun games, engaging activities, new friends, and plenty of opportunities to explore and apply a growth mindset. Young people from kindergarten through 6th grade, separated into age appropriate groups, will enjoy our lively, thought-provoking themes.

In the face of the COVID-19, Camp Fire has temporarily suspended all regularly scheduled programs.

Program Details:

PROGRAM HOURS: 9 am - 3:30 pm

You may drop off anytime between 8:45 and 9 am and pick up between 3:30 pm and 3:45 pm.

While our regular programming runs from 9 am to 3:30 pm, we do offer extended care options for those with schedules that run longer than our program.  When you sign up for extended care, you can drop off as early as 7:30 am or pick up as late as 5:30 pm.

Our flexible options allow you to choose AM or PM extended care by the day, so you are only paying for extended care when you need it.  Separating the extended hours from the program hours is a way to keep the cost down for you and help us manage our staff resources too!

Water bottle - labeled with child's name, to make sure your child stays hydrated.

Closed-Toed Shoes - that stay on and will keep your child's feet warm while outside. No flip-flops.

Warm Clothes - We will be going outside even if it is cloudy or raining, no matter the weather, please bring warm and waterproof jacket, hats and gloves.

Lunch & Snacks - We will not be providing lunch or snacks.  With a full day of activities all of our campers get hungry for a snack during the day.  Please pack enough food for your child to stay comfortable all day long.

Only during camp hours, to reach the on-site staff for emergencies or to notify the staff that you are running late for pick up, the Camp Phone number is: (541) 728-3336.

For all other questions regarding your reservations, please call the Camp Fire office at (541) 382-4682 or email

Don't wait to register... High-quality youth programs are in high demand.  Camp Fire programs are kept small to ensure a great Adult:Youth ratio and create the best learning experience possible.

Space is limited and many sell out quickly!  If the program is sold out, please add yourself to the wait list.

Camp Fire is pleased to thank United Way of Deschutes County, The Clabough Foundation, Children’s Forest of Central Oregon, corporate sponsors, and generous individual donors for helping us to provide this opportunity.  If you would like to make a donation to Camp Fire Central Oregon to support our programs, you can do so here.

To apply for financial assistance, choose the Financial Assistance option during registration.  You will only pay a small fee to hold your spot while we process your application. If the financial packet we offer does not meet your needs, you will have the opportunity to cancel the reservation without incurring any fees.
