STEM Beyond School Adventure Clubs
In partnership with the High Desert Museum, we host STEM learning experiences for 4th and 5th graders at four sponsored elementary schools: Silver Rail, Jewell, Juniper and Bear Creek Elementary. If your child attends one of these schools, we encourage you to enroll in one of our STEM clubs–designed to excite and expose 4th and 5th graders to Science, Technology, Engineering and Math. Whether it's through our After School Adventure Clubs or our No School Days, take advantage of these great learning programs!
WHAT ARE STEM AFTER SCHOOL ADVENTURE CLUBS?
Four of our elementary after school Adventure Club programs meet weekly (See school sign-ups below for specific day), and offer STEM learning experiences two times each month. Just for 4th and 5th grade students, STEM club programs currently run from 3:30-5pm at Silver Rail, Jewell, with slots are almost full at Bear Creek and Juniper. Upcoming activities include Robotics, Electronics and Renewable Energy.
Your annual enrollment fee of $90 includes a 2017 Camp Fire Club Membership with many discounted benefits and member activities, including no-school STEM day camps. Financial assistance IS available!
STEM NO-SCHOOL DAYS
Prepare to be engaged and have fun while you learn! For our sponsored schools, several STEM No School Day field trips are coming up! Offered 8:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. (extended care options) on out-of-school days, these are FREE to 4th and 5th graders who are part of their elementary STEM club! Early and After Care are available, and we have vans to transport us to our exploration destinations!
